BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA — January 10th,2016 — World Fighting Championships and the Belle of Baton Rouge started the year with yet another sold out crowd. The night was full of finishes and energetic bouts.

The highlights of the night were, TJ Landry proving once again why he is the WFC’s 170lbs Champion by completely shutting down any hope Cavazos had of  getting the belt with a 1st Round KO. Carlton Lofton was crowned as the new 135lbs WFC Champion after three entertaining rounds against Jonathan Eiland.  JC Pennington submitted his opponent (after a heated face-off at weigh-ins) with a TRIANGLE CHOKE and gave him a taste of “El Diablo Rojo”. Brendan Allen dominated the cage, and improved to 2-0 with a first round TKO win over his opponent, Kory Moegenburg.
