Professional boxing returns to Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage, California on Saturday, June 24 with the 73 edition of World Fighting Championship (WFC), a card headlined by young undefeated Las Vegas sensation Devin Haney and some of the best local talent in the southern California desert.

Haney (15-0, 10 KOs) of Las Vegas will take on Erik Daniel Martinez (13-7-1, 7 KOs) of Tijuana in an eight round lightweight bout. Haney who is 18 years old, one the hottest rising prospects in professional boxing, will be seeking his fifth victory of the year.

Also in the card are local prospect Javier Padilla (2-0, 2 KOs) of Rancho Mirage who is managed and trained by Joel Diaz and the popular Dominic Serna Jr. (1-0, 1 KO) who is managed by former two-time world champion Tim Bradley. Serna had a sensational debut on April 28 of this year in Burbank California.

Padilla will be featured on a four-round featherweight bout and Serna Jr. will face Jose Fabian Naranjo (3-6-1) in a four-round featherweight bout. Edgar Martinez, another one of Bradley’s managed boxer will take on Mario Aguirre in a four- round lightweight bout.

WFC has promoted 72 boxing and MMA shows throughout the United States over the past four years and this will be their first boxing show in California. Their cards are full of local talent giving them the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of their hometown fans. There will be a total of eight bouts in the card. Other notable locals include Jacob Lerma, Ryan Caballero, and Miguel Contreras.

The doors open at 6:00 p.m. First bell is at 7:00 p.m. Tickets for the event are priced at $100, $60 (Orchestra), $40 (Loge) and $25 (General Admission) in the Mezzanine and Balcony Level and be acquired by visiting: www.hotwatercasino.com/wfc-boxing.
